A Messenger From the Sky
Today, as I sat filtering through the thoughts running through my mind I heard an entrance at my front door and turned around to find an unexpected visitor ..... A beautiful redbird flying passed me toward my hallway. I could see the red bird's fear and the sight moved my heart to tears.
The beautiful bird perched on the windowsill looking from inside out....... I felt the longing, inside the tiny life form, to once again fly free......
I stood above the redbird, talking to him gently........ As my hands reached down, carefully, to raise the glass and set the beautiful bird free. 3:58pm April 14, 2014
