   Jan Tetstone (Heartsong) 65, of Starke, Florida, was born in Baker County, Florida, United States of America in 1949. Through her site The Spirit Within Poetry, she shares her writings, and drawings with the world. Her poetry has been published in numerous books published by Yes Press, Suwannee Poetry, Hieroglyphics Press, Fine Arts Press, and others. She received The International Society of Poets International Poet of Merit Award [1995], and is recognized as a Distinguished Member by International Society of Poets "for support of the Society’s principles of Peace- Education- Accomplishment- Charity- Equality." Her ideas on both  poetry and art:  Both, like love, must express heart felt emotions in line, for the betterment of all mankind."
