Love's Flames

Tonight my thoughts are of you
The one I love every moment of the day,
and in my dreams at night . . .

The one I long so to be with but try
so hard to forget.

The love that touches me from afar
as I wish for you on every falling star.
The Love I seek in the day and yearn
for in the night.

The Love that time can not erase
and no other can ever replace.
The love, my candle light, that burns in my dreams
and touches me with its flames.
