Yes! Yes! America's heart bleeds.
America's heart bled when the first
American's blood was drawn for
Independence, and liberty.

The heart of America bleeds every time
an American soldier's blood is drawn for
freedom at home or beyond the seas.

Does the heart of America Bleed?
Yes! Yes! America's heart bleeds.
America's heart is pierced every time
An American suffers at the hands of injustice,
And justice is made blind.

The heart of America bleeds every time
her children suffer for the principles
that are the building blocks of American
dreams.

The heart of America bleeds every time
an American soldier's blood is drawn for
freedom at home or beyond the seas.
